  • Recognize and confirm that an individual has been called by God to the ministry

  • Acknowledge that the individual has undergone a period of discernment

  • Receive training related to this calling

  • Authorizes the individual to take on the responsibility of ministering across the earth

As a legally ordained minister you can:

  • Perform wedding ceremonies. Some states or counties may require local registration before conducting a wedding

  • Share your personal religious beliefs with others

  • Qualify for tax free status as religious order

  • Lead, (even create your own) religious ceremonies and rites

  • Legally ordained member of the clergy

  • Open a church to spread the fellowship of believers

  • Visit prisons to bring hope and faith to those within

  • Conduct funeral ceremonies

Applicants are required to complete all readings or teachings listed online (this list may change from time to time depending on materials available).

*Applicants are welcome to submit books or teachings the might replace and satisfy the content required in above listed books*

Required Attendance Of Ministry Gatherings and Training Events

Applicants must have attended 5 ministry focused events or training events. Events and trainings must focus on development of Christian leadership, ministry, gifts of the spirit, or practical skills.

Suggested hosts of events (not limited to these):

  • Global Awakening

  • Joan Hunter Ministries

  • International House of Prayer

  • HRock Church/HIM

  • Bethel Church

  • Elevation Church

  • Hillsong

  • Youth With A Mission (YWAM)

Please submit verification of attendance of any events for approval.

Required Years Of Service Or Ministry

All applicants must have completed 5 years of practical ministry service. This service should have included personal responsibilities, ongoing commitment, and consistent interaction with the ministry and care of other people. (These years could be with a church or ministry)

Required Personal and Ministerial Recommendations

Each applicant must submit or have submitted on their behalf, three written personal recommendations (non-relatives), and three written ministerial recommendations.

After all of the above are submitted the applicant will then go through an interview process with the ministerial staff of Momentum Ministries (either by phone or in person).

**Some applicants will first receive a license of ministry, and will need to maintain two years of good standing before receiving the final ordination and all the rights of an ordained minister under Momentum Ministries. **
